New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is saying any discipline for students who participated in the gun violence walkout should be overturned. At least one school in New York physically blocked the exits so that students couldn't leave the building. Similar actions by other schools across the country have been reported. Cuomo, who personally participated in the walkout with New York students, believes these kinds of disciplinary actions by schools send "a terrible message" and "are against constitutional free speech protections."
